Established in 2004, APSL is an association open to all Sri Lankans in the UK, irrespective of their ethnicity, creed or political affiliation. Our aim is to promote unity and professionalism among the Sri Lankans, foster good will and cultural relations in the UK, as well as support relief and development activities in Sri Lanka.
At APSL, we were thrilled to collaborate with Link to Lanka for a successful event on UCL Campus aimed at connecting Sri Lankan students with professionals. Our mission was tooffer students valuable insights and guidance to support their career journeys, and the event proved to be a tremendous success. By bringing together leading professionals from a variety of industries, we provided students with the opportunity to gain crucial career advice and inspiration.
The event kicked off with a panel discussion, which later transitioned into a networking session where students had the chance to connect directly with professionals, ask questions, and explore career pathways. This interaction allowed students to gain meaningful advice from experts in their respective fields.
Our events aim to broaden participants' networks, help them gain new skills, and offer valuable perspectives on career opportunities. The event not only facilitated career development but also strengthened ties within the APSL community, opening doors for future collaborations and opportunities.
The Health and Medical Assistance Fund provides crucial healthcare services, including emergency medical care, surgeries, and long-term treatment for the underserved communities.
